The 23rd Annual Walk for the Homeless is scheduled for Saturday, March 24, 2012.
We are currently seeking sponsors, volunteers and walkers for the 2012 Walk for the Homeless! Call us today at 382-0287 ex. 114 or contact us today.
This year's route will provide scenic views for walkers as we travel along the Kalamazoo River Valley Trail way, raising funds for HRI. As in years past, we are hopeful a hardy bunch of 300+ dedicated souls will again participate in the 23rd Annual Walk for the Homeless, walking 3.5 miles and contributing to the $75,000 goal.
All proceeds benefit services offered at HRI from homeless services to homeless prevention services directed at securing, maintaining and sustaining housing long term.
The Walk is the largest single fundraiser for the HRI during the year and is vitally important to keep services available to homeless families in the Kalamazoo community.
